I didn’t even see a commercial for this film being released in theatres. Is it anything like Reign of Fire? Althought I only sat through that film because of Christian Bale. =) But anyway if anyone has seen it is it any good? Like for a saturday night rental or something not an Oscar.

from my view, i would say it wasn’t such a great movie as i thought. Try getting something else.

It’s completely different from reign of Fire which was basically a sci-fi apocalyptic movie (with Christian Bale and Matt McConaghey)
Dragon Wars is more of a Hong-Kong style fantasy movie, closer in flavor to Lord of the Rings with B-movie actors. I don’t wanna spill the plot, though.
I’d say it’s an ok rental, but you could just wait for it to show up on Sci-Fi channel’s Saturday night lineup… There have been worse movies, like Ultraviolet
